I would love to see what the motherboard of one of these machines look like.I'm speculating that it's some variant of a wii U GPU thats driving the game, but who knows. This is nice feature because it makes sure people aren't picking the best car combinations every time, allowing everyone to have a crack at the better combinations. After you select a character, you're brought to a screen where a roulette game lets you spin for your cart and power ups. One neat feature is how your vehicle and power ups are chosen. Hint not advertised: If you repeatedly tap the accelerator during the countdown, your player will get a very nice boost past the competition! My girlfriend played a round with a kid who was around 8 years old, and they were neck-and-neck until the end of the course (she won, naturally!) The arcade version of the series is designed so anyone/any age can just hop in the drivers seat and competitively play against someone else. Just got back home from Dave & Busters and I must say it was a good time! We had an early dinner, played a quite a few rounds of Mario Kart GP DX, and had plenty of 'chips' on our card to go back again.
